Privacy notice
Last updated: 10 October 2026
This notice describes the current Tumblefords website. For privacy enquiries about The Tumblefords website, contact: thetumblefords@protonmail.com.
Visiting the website
The site does not include visitor accounts, a newsletter form, a shopping checkout or advertising analytics in its website code. Netlify hosts and delivers the website and may process technical request information, including IP addresses, requested URLs and browser information, to deliver the service and protect it against abuse. Hosting logs and their retention depend on Netlify’s service and account settings. See Netlify’s privacy information.
We rely on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the website for necessary technical processing.
Contacting us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and any information you choose to include. We use these to answer your enquiry, on the basis of our legitimate interests in responding to messages, or to take steps at your request before entering a contract where relevant. Email is handled through Proton Mail. We do not use enquiries to subscribe you to marketing.
We retain correspondence while needed to handle the enquiry and any related obligations or dispute. You can ask us to delete messages when they are no longer needed.
YouTube videos and your choice
Episode players are not loaded until you select “Load YouTube video” after seeing the privacy explanation. Loading the player connects your device to Google/YouTube and shares technical information such as your IP address and browser details. YouTube may use cookies or other storage, particularly during playback. We use its privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com player; this does not eliminate third-party data processing.
You can instead choose “Watch on YouTube”. You can remove a loaded player using “Remove video”, or close the episode window. This stops the embedded player; it does not erase information already processed by YouTube. Your permission is not saved between episodes or visits. See Google’s privacy policy.
External websites
Amazon and our social profiles are external links. Following a link takes you to that provider’s website, where its own privacy and cookie rules apply. We do not receive your payment details through this website.
International processing
Our hosting, email and video providers may process data outside France and the European Economic Area. Their privacy information describes their locations and applicable safeguards. You can contact us for information about processing connected to this website.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and request portability where applicable. You may withdraw consent for optional videos without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal. Contact us using the email above. You may also complain to the French data protection authority, CNIL, or your local supervisory authority.
Children
The site is intended for a family audience and does not invite children to submit personal information. Parents and guardians can contact us about information a child may have sent.
